Dr. Waller is a licensed pharmacist with over 9 years of experience in various settings from community pharmacy, academia, and managed care pharmacy. This has elevated her knowledge of communicating with those navigating the complexities of healthcare. She has been a liaison to help educate individuals on basic medication needs and resources to help best utilize medical and pharmacy benefits. 

 

She has a heart to serve and has been committed to being involved in her community since she was a child. She has worked in various mentoring programs, especially with young girls including the Rosa T. Beard Debutante Club, Tabernacle’s Women’s Mentor Ministry, and Atlanta GLOW. Shanice is also active in the Decatur Alumni Chapter of her sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

 

Shanice knows the immense support needed to journey through grief as she lost her mom at the age of 28 years old.  She also personally resonates with Harriet’s Daughters as her mom battled Stage 4 Lung Cancer.  She truly wants to stand with those to find hope even in adverse times.

 

Shanice believes the greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members. Through the work of Harriett’s Daughters, she hopes to pour into the lives of many families.
